The replacement Avons ZZ5 I think are on my car and definitely a good deal grippier than the originals, plus rather quiet in operation. Can chuck the rear end around with a good deal more abandon and they hang on well, and front end grip was never a problem anyway.
Would rather have Toyos or Yokos but generally very happy with the new Avons.
