Not just for the car but other recreational leather goods.
For example, I have a very fine black leather pouch for my phone. Happy to show it on request! I've also made phone pouches for MrsW and MissW, and I made a pouch for MrsW's hairdressing scissors. All made from soft supple leather offcuts, sourced on e-bay. I'm quite handy with a leather needle & thread these days.
