I've been thinking about chopping in my Caterham and going back to a Plus 8 again for a while and so been watching the market. So few seem to be actually selling, and the same cars seem to be advertised for months on end. There's a couple of quite nice looking 90's cars at Allon White for example, both have dropped in price and both have been for sales for about a year.
I'm actually after a 3.9 pre cat and one I went to see in Birmingham, is still for sale 15 months later. What's going on? Are people just unrealistic in what they are asking and has the market shrunk?
Allon white told me last May (when I bought my Roadster for the reason's Dave W so well explained)that the big export area was Oz and with them in recession prices were falling.
