The presence of Air Conditioning in a Morgan does seem to excite opinion, even more so than an audio system.

My views on audio are already known.

When I got Tarka I was, to say the least, doubtful that the A/C system was of any value.

I have now changed my mind.

With the hood up and driving on a cold day in the rain the inside of a Morgan can get a bit humid as the heater dumps warm humid air onto the screens, windscreen and soforth. Yes, I know the screen demister works, but it is still damp and "fuggy" after half an hour or so.

In a moment of brilliance I turned on the A/C: the damp air air is made cold, the moisture condenses out and then passes over the heater. So the car is filled with warm DRY air!!
OK, the amount of heat needs to be adjusted, as does the fan speed, as the car speeds up and slows down, but this is a real task for the co-pilot!.

A Morgan, with A/C, is a really nice car do drive in the cold rain.

So, I'm now a supporter of:
1: Heated Seats
2: Audio
3: A/C
4: Automatic transmission
ALL in a TRAD MORGAN

Does this make me a Trad-Heretic or just someone who is happy to use relavant technology??
