Hi Piloto
Bit of a tale.
Mine started life Saddle Brown, but I have never been happy with it - too bright and uniform. What I was after was more 'old leather chair in a gentlemans club' , a bit battered with some patina.
So I have been messing with water based leather dyes for some time now, gradually going a shade darker and darker each time.
If I dont like it in the long run I can always remove it back to the original - did that once early as I made a mess of applying part of it.
Still got all the gearbox area to do - a long term project !
I remove all the leatherwork from the car when doing it , so its an excuse to top up the bevel box etc at the same time

It takes a while to do to get it how you want it, but is good fun !?!
