If you can weld buy the wire mesh.
Check out Mesh company the size of the mesh will change as it is formed to the Morgan grill, you will probably find it is a nominal 6.5mm.
If you are not a welder the mesh will unweave on the edges as you cut the corners , You will also have to allow for diagonal sizing not 90* mesh size.
Also where gloves the cut edges are very sharp.
