Good plan...
Of course what they should have done is put a plate welded to the chassis rail behind the alloy skin so that the exhaust bracket is bolted through the body to the bracket....
That would have required exacting tolerances between the skin fabricating and the chassis!
The philosophy is to bolt onto the thing which is bolted onto the other thing which hangs off that thing which is stuck onto this thing.
