Cannot you quickly move the mirror down a little bit when you need to park? Being manual it takes one sec and you can reach both almost with no effort.

Yes I could do that but sometimes when in a hurry or a passenger in the car leaning over to alter the mirrors is not always ideal so I thought there must be a better more permanent solution.
