Let your Dealer look at it. It will be under warranty. There may be some 'adjustment' possible on the cover. It's also worth checking that the track rods are equal length, just in case you're getting more lock to the right.
Earlier cars sometimes had a roller or scuff plate fitted to the chassis to prevent too much lock being applied.
Mine had scuff plates (angle bar) bolted to the chassis. I now have roller stops from Melyvn Rutter.
