After seeing so many overweight (and generally over-chromed) Mustangs in Europe I really didn't see the point in them . Then I went to the Greenfield Village Heritage Museum outside Detroit and saw the original drop head on display. It was small , neat , and nicely styled and I must admit it rather restored my belief in them. The problem is that so many were produced with a power sapping autobox and a relatively low powered 6 cylinder motor, that the manual V8s are now becoming so hard to find , their prices are rocketing. Would love to see some pictures.
