We did that in the previous block Roger, the problem is that now around here the yield on rented property is just circa 3% so it's no longer interesting
Not good. I had it even worse on the house I left behind in Sydney when the NSW State Government decided they were going to rip off property owners with high taxes. I sold the house to my daughter and the Government dropped the new taxes Then daughter got divorced after 5 years and had to sell. The house sold at auction for twice what she had paid for it Now rentals in Sydney have skyrocketed and the value of the house would be much more than double. Worse property decision I ever made
