Might be worth asking the card supplier if they charge for every transaction, I had a major row with Barclaycard when they tried to charge me a currency transaction fee for every toll both charge, they said each one was a separate purchase and so incurred the charge, after a lot if argument they agreed to add them up per day and make one daily charge.....then they actually did not charge?? They just converted into Sterling and charged? No idea on their rules and the call centres don't always seem to know either.
