Wiscos. My original Compensator was broadly OK, but did clatter sometimes at idle, when it felt like it. It was changed under warranty (a loose term in MMC world, in truth!) and it certainly drives well and without the @idle clatter. In truth the difference is not massively noticeable, but it drives well all the same.

The G56 kit has made a bigger difference in the smoothness than the compensator change, as far as I am concerned. So to answer your question, no, you don't need Centa to make the G5 kit sing, particularly if your existing unit is still playing ball.
