I don't really have a view on the lock covers or hinges, but have wondered about the covers for a while. If you get them do give us all your review!!
I do, however, have a view re the check straps. I have replaced them with the stainless versions from Librands

I find them great as no longer do I get my shin bashed when the door closes of its own volition as I am getting in or out and SWMBO is much happier!!(always a consideration!!!) If your car does NOT have the scuttle roll bar - as mine is -- I modified the brackets so as to fit. Rob Wells said he was going to supply them as per my mod, but I'm not sure whether or not he does. Call him, he's a pleasant chap to talk to. If he can't supply you, PM me and I'll send you the photos etc so you can do it yourself, it's not difficult
