Does anyone know of a maker or supplier of longitudinally divided hinged insulating connector covers (as described in a patent numbered US 3147338 A) ?
I ask as having relocated the battery to the rear of my plus 8 I now have the main battery cable running along the floor inside, and since there is a join in it anyway right by the gear lever it makes sense (to me) to have this as the "jump-starting point" rather than groveling around on the starter solenoid terminals which are perilously close to bare metal.........
