You have saved me looking dumb in front of the dealer.

Though I think the salesman thought it was fitted I had my doubts at the time

Now an option on the Plus 4, we have it. There is a weakness in the circuitry though. If the car is started with the aircon and headlights turned on there is a relay that turns off all "options" and the lights to direct full power to the starter. When the engine starts there can be a power surge that burns out the dash circuit board. This only applies to the pre-GDI Plus 4 fitted with aircon as far as I know. I have had it happen 3 times now swear banghead
