Mine is a X/flow engine 4/4 2str, over the years not much is original of the body.
Wider wheels meant new wider wings
Over sized steel crank engine with Webbers meant new bonnets to suit.
Five speed box made it close to modern and moved the gear lever from the original stupid position.
Better shocks and springs four pot brakes transformed the handling.
The car is ruined from a purist point of view.
However as I have not plans to sell it the will be someone else's problem when I'm dead.
Meanwhile I will continue the destruction with a Lotus or BDA head.
To coin a phrase, it's my car and I will do as I dam well please.
