A couple of months ago I spoke to Mulfab and was told they now have a new design of specific radiator for the black top 4/4, with a core the same size as for a plus 4 or plus 8. It can be ordered and fitted by a dealer or DIY, but they do not have a fitting service.
This is the one designed specifically for the 2002 MY on 1.8 black top Zetec (Focus engine) and no longer mounts onto the steering rack casing as per the OE fitting.
My 4/4 is due to have one fitted in a few weeks, so I will report back.
