Congratulations on the mini Andy - I'm a little bit jealous. Like Dave, (and despite owning a BMW MINI) I too refer to the old ones as proper minis. Like many of us, I cut my motoring teeth on minis, so have a very soft spot for them. The last one was a 1968 MkII Morris Cooper called Linda (from her deep throaty exhaust).... love

I owned it back in London in the mid to late 80's. I left it with my brother to sell for me when we moved to France in 1988. He interpreted "sell" as "not bother to put it in the paper, drive it around, never check the oil & seize the engine as a result". swear

As to M3W's out on the road, not including the one on the lovely afternoon when Morgan France let me take their demonstrator out in the bois de Boulogne, (when the bloke with the big grin behind the Brooklands screen was yours truly)....I've seen 2.
