I was a previous 1994 Plus 8 owner but needed instant cash for my sons Professional Yacht Masters course on the Isle of Widget so Dad had to sacrifice for a year.

24,000miles of pure pleasure provided, lots of small things came unglued and fell off but nothing that stopped her going well which is all that is of concern to me infact the more bits that fell off the quicker she went as it was attrition like, that coupled with the engine freeing up a bit over time it became somewhat of a linear function.

I won't mention the 3 cracked "under stress" windscreens as Brian very kindly acted as the conduit and sorted this out for me.

Pic brings back many memories - my first 4/4 (sports Black) came out of the same showroom in April '09 reg WX09 HLC, I sold it to MMC 14 months later with 12000 not quite trouble free miles on the clock, the next owner was Matt Humphreys who took the clock round to 36000 mls in a little over 12 months. The green/yellow striped Elise in the background is a sort after Type 25 - a limited edition tribute to Jim Clark that I would be happy to have in my garage
