Every September my friend Peta (she is a real petrolhead with an MG TD and an MX5 as a daily driver) organizes a fundraising day called "Les virades de l'espoir" for a Cystic Fibrosis charity. It is held on the terrace of the Chateau de Saint Germain en Laye. Amongst other attractions (live music, food stands etc) a large number of interesting cars are invited & members of the public can pay to be taken for a quick spin. I turned uplast Saturday to lend a hand for a couple of hours at the end of the afternoon after my lunchtime service; Peta and her brother in law Steve (who had come over from the UK in his Mog for the event; it is the silver & maroon roadster) had been nose to the grindstone all day. In all 80 cars were involved plus the local Harley Davidson club (in the background). Steve welcomed the helping hand when I turned up as his Morgan had been one of the popular cars at the event.

Thoroughly enjoyable, and a very worthy cause.
