Norway has the highest priced road fuels in Europe , and almost the lowest cost electricity, which is one of the prime reasons why urban Norwegians choose electric cars. I saw more Teslas in Trondheim this February than I have seen in the rest of Europe ever.

Although I don't have the data to hand, a fair amount of Norway's electricity is produced from HydroElectric power stations, so overall their CO2 emissions are going to lower per kWh of electricity produced.


Quite ironic considering Norway is a major supplier of oil. As you say, they have invested very heavily in hydro-electric schemes which I believe provide 99% of their energy.
I'd certainly be buying a Tesler if I lived over there!
