Upgraded my 2013 MacBook Air a couple of weeks ago.
The only real problem was that office 2011 for Mac became completely unstable. Upgraded to Office 2016 for Mac (no cost fortunately as one of my businesses already had a full Office 365 subscription for me) and the problems all went away.
Now a happy user.
