IF my tyre measurement is correct I've used about 1.5mm tread in 9000 miles, roughly equal front and rear, which surprised me. I wouldn't go lower than 4mm on a car like a Plus 8, so a new set every 30 to 40K, again surprisingly long life. Clearly I'm not trying hard enough...
Brakes...the pads are cheaper than on my Mercs, less than £120 for a set of front ones.
Alloy corrosion...always possible but the trad bodies seem to last very well indeed. There are 10 to 15 year old trads that don't seem to have alloy corrosion issues. A case of wait and see....!
But even if I end up paying £500 most years and the occasional £1000 I'll be happy.
