Thank you for the info. This may explain the confusion. You are also correct, I believe the Fergus Plate is a repro as I found out that Fergus did not use the chassis number as their stock number. I did confirm the engine belongs in this car as the bonnet hinges are stamped with the 5 digits from the engine number. I have contacted Martyn Webb at Morgan for more info and I will also wait for the chassis record info I requested....for £75 (WOW).
I was also able to confirm that the engine work was done by Robert Couch and the paint was done by Jake Weaver. Jake was heavily involved with Ferrari's, hence the Ferrari Fly Yellow. The restoration was done to a very high level, and looking at the car it looks it.
