I did a degree in Ship Science at Southampton Uni; several of my pals were on the Nautical Studies course which was split between the Ship Science department & Warsash. I went down there a few times; I do remember spending an afternoon on the Ship simulator, when I managed to put a VLCC on the Bramble Bank after an engine failure. Ahem.
How great that a senior lecturer there is a Morganista. One of my lecturers in the Ship Science department, Doc Wilson had a Morgan.
Oh, and Steamy, do you ever come across my old friend Giles Barkley, who is a senior lecturer in Yacht design at Southampton Solent ?
