That's a thought for 2016 gatherings - Aero museums...
We held a customer event at RAF Hendon a few weeks back. Great location with three hangers full of planes including all the usual subjects. Just of the base of the M1. Lots of good value hotels around. Decent sized car park. Small problem in that the entire Met Police seems to be based on it's doorstep so no being naughty.
