I'm afraid I'm at that stage where I keep popping to the garage to take another look and am also monitoring the weather very closely in the hope of a drive day free from salty conditions. Thus far I've done about 100 sunny miles and am addicted. In fact, when I started the Morgan process I didn't anticipate jumping so quickly but I did get completely hooked. I'm normally relatively cautious about cars and spending large chunks of money but on this occasion I pushed a lot of this to one side. Definitely the right move! My wife also loves the car.

I bought the car from a very reputable and established dealer and have no issues. However, since I only have a 3 month warranty, and at this time of year (December) don't anticipate too much driving, wonder if there is anything in particular to keep an eye on within this period. I haven't seen anything of significance thus far. The Talk Morgan site is brilliant and I've already increased my knowledge immensely and had some good entertainment in the process. Any thoughts would be most welcome.

Single most frequent failure of later +4's is the unreliable plastic radiator, either the header tank overflow outlet pipe snaps off or the top hose outlet snaps directly under the hose clip which if over tightened cracks the brittle plastic. ANY coolant seepage is a worrying sign and don't accept KSeal or other leak stop additive, a new radiator is the answer and go for an aluminium one, fixed once and forever!
