Perhaps it would be a good idea to go back to the start. The OP said: 'What do we think chaps and chappesses ?'. A straightforward question I think.
TM Members obliged and, as might be expected, opinions differed - on the various elements of the car. Members were asked for their opinion, they gave their opinions, honestly and for better or worse. I do not see that as 'sniping from the sidelines'.
I don't think anyone has said that producing the cars and using them to raise funds for charitable purposes was a bad idea, in fact quite the opposite, everyone seems to support the idea and the cause. Asking for clarification on the donations is, to my mind, entirely reasonable given the purpose of the project (especially as it hadn't been stated in the original and earlier posts).
Just because someone is not keen on the car (or at least some aspect of it) doesn't mean they do not give due credit to Oakmere for coming up with the idea in the first place and then turning that idea into reality. As an example: I do not like the colour scheme but I do applaud the motives behind the project and wish them well in their endeavour.
But enough of all this....I have just received the Morgan Accessories brochure (along with December's Miscellany and the very nice 2016 Calendar)....the Morgan Accessories brochure shows me the life that I really should be living....with not a grey hair in sight (in stark contrast to what I saw at MOG15)....perhaps there are two parallel Morgan universes? Either way, I have just put the Morgan Tax Disc Holder (page 14) at the very top of this year's Christmas List. A practical choice I thought, and good to know that tradition lives on....
