I think there is more to these pipes judging by the sound. The reason they sound like yank v8 is I suspect due to a cross linking of the back pipe just before the diff. There are advantages of this, it allows each bank to use the exhaust pulse of it's opposing cylinder to cause a vacume in the cylinder when the exhaust post opens. This would give an extra 5hp on a car like the are. Down side is you loose the British spitfire sound so Morgan and librands don,t do it.
