I have come to the conclusion that Morgan has some pretty dodgy electrics behind the dash. To give you one strange example the heater fan control is on the earth side from the fan motor. This has the strange effect that when the ignition is turned off and the fan is going at high speed it starts to work like a generator and some of the warning lights that are on the same earth don't instantly go off but fade out over about a second as the fan motor winds down.

I have a mysterious fault that has now blown out 3 very expensive circuit boards. I thought it was happening only when the aircon was on and at one stage I put it down to the amateurish mounting of the aircon relays. After all that was fixed it blew again, it was then put down to a section of the circuit board being too thin,so it was beefed up. Now it has gone again and this time the aircon was not turned on. The big problem is that it can work perfectly for a month or two and then phst!

My current thinking is to completely replace the Morgan circuit board with a wired system and at the same time reverse the heater fan circuit so the the two speed switch is on the power side. In the mean time I have no heater fan snow
