I managed to bend my crosshead a few years back. I only noticed it when servicing the front end and fitting some bearings to the kingpins. I spoke to my friend and higher Morgan guru David Rutherford who advised me to cold bend it straight.

You'll need to strip everything off the affected side. You can get it very close by eye using a light at the other end of the tube. Use the kingpin for the vertical plane and the tie-bar as the horizontal plane reference points.

How much is the bend on your car? By the way, the crosshead fittings are brazed not welded.
