I'd be surprised if the future JLR Land Rovers' will be as good in the long term for their current customer base as the 'old' Landies, but I suppose as a business model going forward, the writing has been on the wall for quite a long time.
The old design will continue to be produced somewhere in the world, but i'm not sure what the chances are that they will be able to sell them new in this country due to ever tightening emission and safety legislation.
It will be interesting to see.
