After fitting an Omex ECU how much functionality remains with the original ECU? Are you still reliant on the original to any extent (things like fuel pump & odometer etc.)? Reading through the Omex specification it looks like it has all the capability to avoid piggybacking.

The original ECU remains to run the dash functions and the Omex ECU is a complete engine management system.
