I had 205/60/15 US tyres on my 911 before. (I don't know why the Americans on all 911 we imported like this wrong size). Even the ratio is wrong.
Back to the Dunlop. A predecessor of the Bluresponse was N rated which means it was a certificated 911 tyre by Porsche. This is not unimportand because a 911 is very sensitive regarding quality and stability of tyres at the back. It has to carry the whole engine weight under dynamic conditions.
In the past 195/65/15 was a rare sportscar size. The positive was, most were a good choice.
Today you can get loads of different tyres of this size as it is the standard with cars like modern Golfs etc. But most of those brands with this size are just made to carry front wheel drive hatch backs.
I have a very good feel with the Bluresponse mounted on the 911 and I'm confident it would be a good choice for a Plus 4 as well.
Today Porsche only recommends Pirelli 6000 for classic cars. This is not acceptable because this tyre is way too expensive. The company just don't want to invest time and money to test successors of what they used in the past.
