Ten pence worth..
The Quaife LSD is well made and strong, does not work if there is no torque provided to one of the drive wheels end of story.
If you drive all year ice, snow muddy water filled roads the a plate driven LSD is a better option for traction. But it would need the correct springs to refine its harshness.
The Stock Morgan axle has been a BTR used since 1996 and is metric, Not imperial Dana (American) UK Salisbury.
Morgan use both types. Mine sits on the bench waiting to be fitted when I get some time, it came from a crashed very low milage Mog and is the plate type.
