A few observations following your 2nd report.
The steering shouldn't shake, I cruised mine at 3500rpm, which is an indicated 80 or so, and snuck it a little higher for a short while, and the steering was as steady as a rock, although it may be that my electric steering helps, but I suspect there is a little problem somewhere.
I too thought my throttle pedal was sticking when cold, but further experimentation has shown that it is a built in 'rev hang' but only until the water temp reaches 60, when it disappears and behaves normally. I'm guessing this is to minimise CO2 on the cold start map, as it'll burn off the excess fuel. It is easy to drive around for a short time, but would be a pia if it happened all the time.
The car is very loud, which is why my exhaust system is currently on the bench and I'm planning a trip to a local exhaust manufacturer with an old 6" x 32" straight through silencer that was surplus to requirements. I may have to get them to make a complete silencer, if this doesn't quieten things down a bit.
The suspension is also very hard and unyielding, see my previous comments. I have emailed Steve Morris about this, as, frankly it isn't satisfactory on the roads we have to put up with in this country. He replied very quickly to say that he hasn't had any other complaints, but that he had forwarded my email on to his engineers. So far I'm still waiting, but in fairness it was only last Wednesday.
I'm rather hoping that they might be able to do a 'Comfort' option which they can install at no extra charge, but I'll have to wait and see. I would also be very interested if other owners find the ride unacceptably hard for road use? Although probably perfect for the track.
