Thanks for posting.
I think the sump guard looks spot on, particularly in it's modified form.
I didn't realise there was a problem with the +8, although I've not done that many miles I've certainly gone over quite a number of speed bumps with no problem.
A call to Uncle Melvyn seems on the cards, better to be safe than sorry!
