Nothing back from Ford yet. I suspect that they don't really want to get involved.
I guess the next move is to go to a local Ford dealer and see if they can help.
I will let you know, in the meantime, I wonder if John's pre GDI cover could be modified as the main difference in terms of fitting is the oil filler and dip stick position.
