Thats illogical. You want a watch for daily use and messing around with the Morgan. In other words as a tool not as an ornament or a treasured posession. So the only function of such a watch is to tell the time so why have one that does that one job badly. Its like having a blunt knife or an unreliable car.


Of course, its highly illogical

A bit like owning a Morgan

Having a beautiful functional piece of engineering precision on the wrist is hard to give up


Also using Quartz crystals as a resonator to drive a pulse of exactly 1 second is just cheating

It's just not fair

A tiny bit of Quartz crystal linked to a bloody battery to do the same job and making redundant hundreds of years of miniature precision engineering

It's plain wrong

It's not big and it's not clever
