Man maths at work here too -- possibly post heart attack maths playing their part as well. I am thinking that if life now has a finite aspect to it(doesn't really, but this is part of the thought process!!) then it would be best to spend the money on things now so as to get the maximum benefit from ownership -- makes sense really!!!!!!

Well I actually had started the process off before the medical event(I drove it a week earlier), and had left it with Berrybrook to come back to me with some financial thoughts. When I finally got home I heard from them and gave them a call. The lovely Henry presented a very good plan to get me into the Aero and suggested that I came down when I felt able and had a really good look again. So Mr Budster a fews days later took me out for the morning, we had already arranged to meet, and to Berrybrook. I spent quite a long time checking the car over and Henry put it on a ramp. The more I looked the more convinced I was. So the deal was struck, which I am very pleased with, and so is

Lusting after an Aero goes back to when it first appeared at the NEC Motorshow, I was into TVR's then, we were there to see and decide whether to put a deposit on a new Tuscan. The Aero at the show was the dark blue one in the MMC collection, I very nearly ordered the Aero instead
of the Tuscan(that never came, I pulled out a year later).
Anyway I am very excited, I never thought I would be able to own one, I think its particularly good, and has been looked after well, a couple of minor niggles that Henry is getting sorted. So 8 April is the big day, when I can drive again, I will miss my Roadster its a great car, but I think the Aero is the right one for me and several TM pals think the same.
I just need to come up with a suitable name
