D. Reflective Tabbard to be carried
One per seat and accessible from within the vehicle.
From the point of view of a vintage owner, absolutely no-where to stash a reflective tabard if there are two of you in it. One solution that occurs to me is to wear this:
Dickies Hi Vis Jacket The one I have does have the relevant approval that a tabard bought in the UK would have and is surprisingly warm for a fairly cheap jacket (I've worn mine for scout activities when I want to be seen). No idea if the French would find some minute objection. It obviously is not as good at being a protective outer layer than a leather jacket is.
