I do wonder why the battery would go flat quickly though, apart from the clock, what other current draw is there? Surely the immobilizer does not consume much power?



The clock and immobilizer with its flashing LED drains my battery and in Winter the colder air in the garage reduces the charge on the battery plus the colder engine needs more power to turn over

Of course in the Spring and Summer its not a problem as I'm using the car far more every few days so i don't have it on trickle charge from about now until October
