The brake should be positioned to the centre line of the vehicle when possible. If, due toany obstruction or vehicle design, this is not possible, it should be positioned to the off side i.e.Driver’s side, of the centre line.
The height should be no less than 13.75” (350mm) and no more
than 59” (1500mm) from the ground or if the structure of the vehicle makes this impracticable 82.5” (2100mm).
