The VITAL information you need on securing your wheels is the grub screw must not only go into its' hole but that it goes all the way into the SLOT. Torque alone will not hold your wheel on, the grub screw will, but ONLY IF IT IS IN THE SLOT. scared There are no shortage of wheels coming off stories. The grub screw and slot were the factories fix for the problem back in the day. It is well worth looking at exactly how the grub screw and slot works, and knowing how deep the screw goes in when in the slot. Tipex is useful for this.
Incidently about 4 years ago I bought a new wheel brace from Richard Thorne, so maybe still available. Needless to say the trad wheel brace does not fit.
