Well, I have to respectfully disagree with everyone else about the Aero as a daily driver.
I have had my current Aero for 9 months and drove my previous Aero for 13 months and have done 44,000 miles (about 72,000kms)with both.
My longest drive was last month, driving to the Algarve for the GT3 and then to the south of france for the Aero meet and back home over a 10 day period.
For me, the magic of driving the Aero doesn't wear off. Admittedly, I no longer worry about stone chips or kerbing the nearside front alloy (it's only £50 for a refurb!)but I spend a lot of time in the car and it doesn't matter what the non car time has been like, getting in the Aero is always an attitude adjuster for the better.
Faults, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention......
Actually, both Aero's suffered from water getting in. The S4 was worse, then it was almost totally fixed, jut a tiny bit getting in at the back end of the doors, roof perfect, both hard and soft top. An experimental fix for the back end of the doors has just been tried but actually hasn't been effective, probably exacerbated things but it will be fixed.
Electrical glitches, mine have all been down to water getting in.
Perhaps if the early Aero pioneers were daily drivers, more of these glitches would have arisen and been sorted. I'm getting all mine worked through as the car is used every day and isn't garaged so it gets full exposure to all the English weather can throw at it.
