Re-chroming will only work where the raw product is good underneath the old chrome to start with.
If there's still excessive pitting to the material after the old chrome has been removed then the new chrome won't hide it.
Preparation is evertthing.
Platers & metal finishers are hard to come by now but I got lucky this week requiring some new top hat head bolt plating. - x10 small items £25
