I recently jacked up a 2005 Roadster from the back. Too high and it rolled off the jack, damaging the "Vapor Canister" $400US. I would jack each end a bit and place jack stand then jack the other end a bit and place jack stand.
I am also retiring as a "Back Yard Mechanic" trying to help others. Obviously I am not qualified.
