This may have been mentioned before in this thread, but for the rear suction cup, I would recommend that you go to your local parts store and buy some 3M clear vinyl stone guard material. This stuff is great and comes on lots of cars in the lower body area and on the Harleys where the seats may rub the paint a bit.
Cut a round circle just slightly larger in diameter than the suction cup and peel and stick it to the rear deck. Then when you place your suction cup on the 3M clear patch, you will not leave wear marks on your original paint.
If applied cleanly, it's almost invisible.
Just a thought that may save you from having to rub out your deck lid later, or worse, have the paint touched up.
