My daughter, who is 18, persuaded someone yesterday, who was sitting on the rails at Kingston station waiting for a fast train, not to kill herself. Talked her off the rails by saying she would sit with her and talk to her - which she did. Nobody else did anything- quite a shock for her.
What a courageous daughter you have Neil you must be fiercely proud of her seeing the serious trouble her fellow human being was in and not worrying about the mundanity of getting home late etc.
